Profile

Teaching assistant and faculty member at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, I got my elementary, intermediate, and high school education in Makkah. Then got inrolled in the Faculty of Earth Sciences at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah until I completed my bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Engineering Geology. During my university life, I come across many activities and competitions, for instance, participating in preparing the first environmental meeting at King Abdulaziz University held in the Faculty of Earth Sciences, preparing the commencement at the college, college representation in the cultural competition, and  I was chosen to represent my college in the university’s Knights competition for the year 1433 AH. Then, by the grace and help of Allah, I completed a master’s degree in the United States of America at California State University in Los Angeles majoring in Environmental Engineering.

Employment

Research Interests

Environmental and engineering geology topics, where my focus is on soil pollutants and their effects on engineering properties. Also, I am interested in soil mechanics - foundations and modern methods of building. My graduation project at baccalaureate focused on Physical and Chemical Properties for Polluted Coastal Soil by Sewage Disposal in Southern Cornice of Jeddah. In the master's, my thesis was highlighting the characterizing unsaturated hydraulic properties of compacted coal combustion by-products (CCP) using steady-state centrifugation (SSC) unsaturated flow apparatus (UFA).
